Week 3

Part 1
The study tip topic I chose was note-taking skills.
Note-taking can be enhanced through the application of effective techniques such as the 2-6 Method. It organizes the key points and details within two columns, making it easier for you to check back later. If you wish to combine your lecture notes with outlines from textbooks, apply the Split Page Method. Moreover, rewriting or typing the notes after the class reinforces retention and enhances clarity. Color-coding, through the use of different pen colors or by highlighting, will help in retention while making the notes look nice. Prepare for lectures by reading the assignments in advance so that the notes taken are focused and meaningful. This is the best, most concise, and clearest review notes strategy.

Part 2
This week, the focus area for my research was oriented toward the ethical dimensions linked to technology, where the rough framework to understand it was by using utilitarianism and Kantian ethics. For building empirical knowledge regarding this theory, the action of Edward Snowden was taken up for analysis. Moreover, scenario-based assignments have been taken up that deepened my learning in two dimensions of philosophical thought, namely those of Kantian deontology and utilitarianism. Finally, I consider that their projected application in different dilemmas of real life was also emphasized in detail at the end of the assignment.

Part 3

This week's readings are deeply connected with preparing a portfolio that showcases one's skills, programming languages, experience with Unix, and system administration. Strong technical communication skills and an ethical sense of responsibility are what the reading emphasized, always paying attention to lifelong learning to stay relevant in an ever-changing world of technology. The key takeaways pointed toward the need for an understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems combined with their demonstration in real-world projects and lifelong growth. This makes it sure to set the path for success for anyone headed toward computer science.

Part 4
In the CS Online program, the theme of integrity needs to be ensured and guaranteed to serve learning with fairness, trust, and other values. It is my firm belief that integrity can be a major building block toward attaining my career with the requisite skills and knowledge. In all other instances, dishonesty only voids growth. Working within a structure of integrity will further create a level playing field for other students, encouraging mutual respect and trust in the program. The infractions not only degenerate but deform individual learning and the reputation of the program at large. Our actions shall collaboratively adhere to the Code of Integrity, so that we may create a culture of honesty and excellence in learning.
